So far very few entries have been received for the County Open Competition so perhaps we haven't communicated this shoot very well.
This is an Open event however we need to select 12 Cheshire & North Wales County competitors to shoot in the County Cup team in the afternoon so they should enter the open shoot which forms the the basis of the trial.
The County competitor with the highest score in the Open competition (effectively the trial) will be the County Champion and will be awarded the Silver Salver. Other prizes will be awarded in 3 classes depending on entries.
The athlete with the highest score in the County Cup team of 12 will be awarded the Russell Cup and will be asked to represent the County in the "Champion of Champions" competition at Bisley in August.
